South Coast Charity Fest (Turkey Point, Ont.)

Website: http://www.jeepcompany.ca

South Coast is a unique festival that brings off road enthusiasts to Turkey Point and Ontario’s South Coast.  Our goal is to bring the sport of responsible four wheeling out of the bush and into the public’s eye while supporting Camp Trillium in their quest to provide recreational and camping experiences for children living with cancer.

SC4WDCF is a family oriented event that is stock and newcomer friendly.  The event combines off road trails, on road tours, cultural excursions, lectures, kids programs, vendor fair as well as our famous catered lunch.

The event is supported by and carries liability insurance through the Ontario Federation of 4WD Recreationists.  SC4WDCF is hosted by JeepCompany.ca, a web based 4x4 club formed in January 2004 with the goal of safe, responsible four wheel recreation that everyone can enjoy.  The event is limited to 100 4wd vehicles and is open to ALL brands.

Cancer is the #1 disease killer of Canadian children and every school day about 10 children are diagnosed with this horrible disease.   The good news is that about 75% of children who get cancer can now be cured, and it is programs like those offered by Camp Trillium that can make a difference.

Camp Trillium is a place where children afflicted with cancer can enjoy what most children take for granted...fun, friendships, and a respite from hospitals and treatments.  Most importantly they have a chance to be normal, the chance to be recognized for skills in sailing, canoeing, arts and crafts and drama rather than the disease that inhabits their bodies.
